About

The crux of my mission is to deliver academic programming with assets and services that facilitate and honor student autonomy, self-efficacy, and personal/professional insight.

Bigger challenges in Higher Ed that are my primary interest would include the disruption of learned helplessness in the student body, facilitating inclusive excellence pedagogy, and holding both students and colleagues accountable for their roles within the college system according to standards that are grounded in evidence-based practice.

I have served Terps at the University since 2022.

Education

Master of Education, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, and Counselor Education —University of Maryland (2024)

Bachelor of Science, Sociology — Virginia Tech (2022)

  • Secondary major in Criminology

  • Minor in Adaptive Brain and Behavior

In my spare time I enjoy

Reading philosophical books and articles, watching the X-Files on DVD, amateur portraiture and graphic design, DMV art galleries and museums, the occasional dinner outing, and being generally knowledgeable about the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
