BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES OPPORTUNITY PORTAL (BSOP)
Is a database where students can find research, internship, and scholarship opportunities in the Biological Sciences both at UMD and beyond.
BSOP is accessible by mobile device, but for the best explorer experience, use a laptop or desktop computer.
How does it work?
BSOP marks opportunities as LIVE 🔴 when there’s an application window open to students.
BSOP also maintains an ARCHIVED 🗃️ record of opportunities that may become available to students in a future semester or they may express interest in via cold email.
COMING SOON 🕰️ indicates opportunities with an application that’s opening soon.
Students are encouraged to do deeper research for opportunities marked as CHECK WEBSITE 🌐 or ARCHIVED🗃️ using the web-links included with each listing.
